The Niwot Homestead

Our founding location and demonstration site, this 1.4 acre property is a living experiment in community-powered agriculture and ecological homesteading. For 7 years, it has hosted forest gardens, staple crops, vegetables, pigs, chickens, ducks, and most importantly, volunteer members who show up weekly to tend the land and share the bounty it produces.

The Bindweed School

In 2026, we partnered with the 5-acre Farmstead School to launch an intergenerational school of agroecology. This outgrowth of our original project is designed to uplift the next generation of land stewards, equipping them with deep ecological knowledge, practical farming skills, leadership training, and the support needed to embark launch projects of their own.
